Man's search for meaning

I saw it as a sign when twice in one week, this book was recommended to me, by different resources.

Just finished reading it during my vacation.

Here are my key takeaways from the book.

1. What really matter during a lifetime are - love, nature, art, humor, luck and gratitude.
2. Discouragement leads to depersonalization.  So, don't discourage people.
3. Logotherapy = meaning of existence/ meaning of life.
4. When you have a "why", you will figure out the "how".

All of the above are very useful to me.  Now I need to find a nearby hospital to volunteer at.  As I see it, that is my "why".

I highly recommend this book.  If you don't have time to read all of it, I highly recommend reading the pages in II called "Logotherapy in a nutshell".  While all of it is pretty useful, the section on The Existential Vacuum is particularly useful.
