Sign into your blog and do the following -
The old post editor stopped working for me some time back. Since the problem happened around the time I upgraded to IE9, and it works just fine with Safari, I think the problem might be using a combination of the two.
Updating the editor, fixed the problem.

Settings -> Select post editor -> Select the "Updated editor (Recommended)".
